Hi..
Can anyone who has used a recent external monitor, either decent IPS or TN, comment if there is a noticeable difference in blur compared to laptop IPS displays of ~30ms gtg?

With varying monitor specs your asking a chicken and egg question here. Since anyone can have different size monitor and laptops to Gaming laptops each will perform differently with different monitors. -
I'm not sure chicken and egg is the metaphor you're after. Maybe needle in a haystack? I even tried to google a better one.
Laptop IPS displays are very slow for the most part. Anyone using a halfway modern IPS or TN will most likely halve the response time at least.
I was just wondering if people notice a substantial difference in blur. I'm sure there are many users here who have looked at both.
Sometimes these things aren't all they're cracked up to be.
A lot of people are buying 144hz screens, then running them in g-sync often resulting in less than 60 hz. So any significant blur reduction is response time.
