Which one works better around temps and video recording performance for games(not loading compression or rendering times)?

I'm looking into the Eurocom Tornado F5 and both of those cpus are within my budget and doesn't put my configuration over $1200 with the discount.

If money is no problem get the highest CPU if you can assuming the price difference is not like 1,000$ or something. What you should look at is the GPU that will make more difference as if both CPU and GPU are fast then your video recording and gaming will be on par rather then one bottle necking the other. So what GPU will you bee looking at also makes a difference?

I would get the 6700K lol.. But if you had to choose from the 2, get the 6700.. The T is useless and will throttle...

The -T series are meant for more wattage/thermally-constrained environments, but that doesn't sound like your build.

That said, between the two I'd go for the 6700 (K or non-K). Though personally, I'd rather "downgrade" to an i5-6600k and put the saved money towards a GPU or SSD upgrade (if you don't already have a top-end GPU and/or SSD).

6700K. No doubt  Especially if your new machine shall be used for more than gaming.

Same here I go with the "K" just because you can do more and push it more and will cost more... but you get what you pay for just make sure it is iNtel "K" Amd just doesn't have the snuff here.

Isn't it possible to over clock the non k CPUs? Just requires some special knowledge

Maybe BCLK overclocking, but I think this isn't supported in Bios or work as intended. If you can, you would most likely experience instability

BCLK OC is not working well with Skylake and very few if any motherboards support it.. Also it makes the whole thing very unstable.. OP if you don't have budget, get the 6600K.. It isn't bad and you can always OC.. Also HT is pretty useless in most games so..

If you got the $$ to blow and then again most Custom boards are now bios locked from you doing this unless it is a "K" series or denoted as such "extreme" CPU family line. Otherwise just put the money down and your system will love you for it. The small gain you get from a non-K when it suddenly goes *puff* to your system and your wallet will be a steep learning curve.
