On my Acer Predator x34 (3440x1440 ultrawide), it has native 60Hz refresh, but it can overclock to 90Hz. 91Hz, it will blank out and not show anything. I have been running it primarily at 80Hz. I guess what are the risks, if any, running it at 90Hz. Just possibility of occasional blanking? I've never run into any issues in the past with overclocking an LCD, but I typically would run it a few MHz slower than max that it could achieve.

I've overclocked every LCD I've ever had and never had any damage. One could actually do 115Hz from 60Hz.
I've found LCDs to work 90% of the time at one frequency, but to work in all scenarios need to be dropped back a few Hz. -

I've had the 60Hz panel in a Lenovo Y500 laptop running stably at 120Hz for the past 2 years without issue.

Had been running the m4600 @ 90hz where 91hz would fail for about 2 years or so?
Of course its not an ultrawide standalone panel so Im not sure if its directly comparable to your scenario
