Not a fan of Lian Li, only company I know that made a full sized HAF case that wouldn't fit an NH D-15 in it... Then the glued on panels started falling off. Overrated cases for sure.

In the late 90's early 2000's they were stellar cases. All aluminum construction and not transformerish.

Agreed. They are average now but at high-end pricing. Like a lot of companies these days they are coasting on their previous successes.
I know GN likes some of their HAF cases but I also think they have a small blind spot for them -- I guarantee you if Corsair for instance came out with a mid-sized HAF case that a D15 wouldn't fit into they would have ripped them a new one.

Exactly how I remember them. Their case were nothing fancy all straight lines, but they were tough, all metal construction and they had full-tower cases back when a "desktop" actually sat on your desktop with the Monitor on top of it. My first build used one of their cases in 1998 I remember paying around $150 dollars for it and thinking that was outrageous. I think their one saving grace now are the o11d and o11d xl not that I think they are particularly great cases, but people have made a bunch of mods and equipment specifically for those boxes

I loved the old Lian Li. Also the antec full towers were a favorite too. Then, After both of those I moved to an antec sonata case. SILENT! it was awesome.
