I'm looking for some PCIE 2.0+ RAID Controller cards under $200
Min: 2 Ports (if its only SATA-III , otherwise 1 SAS-3 works) and the card must support UEFI.
Any suggestions?
My independent research shows a good chunk of them don't except for the much higher price bracket.

Are you looking to boot off the array?
If not, I would look at the HP P410 w/ cache and battery (you can get the 256/512/1GB versions) for under $100.
I ran this card in a home NAS for a good length of time and in a RAID5 array (4x3TB disks) I saw 1.2GB/sec burst with ~500MB/s sustained writes.
Great card for the money and the HP raid software is very easy to use.TomJGX likes this. -
Thanks.
I'm not looking to boot off the array.
Just looking for a card that works under an UEFI Only environment.
The cards I know does are almost a grand for a single port without using a corporate credential. -
Definitely check out the P410 then. I had the 512MB cache version and it worked flawlessly.
There's a 1GB model on ebay for $80 (might be able to find one for less), all you'd need is SAS to SATA cables.
