Hi everybody
I'm just benchmarking my i3 for the first time and I'm getting low scores compared to other published results.
450 xtu marks instead of normal 650, 4500 3dmark physics instead of common 6500.
Besides, noticed lower performance while gaming because of bottlenecking of the cpu.
Checked cpu usage and clocks while gaming and everything seems correct, clocked at 3.7 ghz with about 100% cpu usage while benchmarking and getting low results, I don't understand at all.
What could I check in order to get that 30% extra performance back?

It could be thermal throttle.
Run HWMonitor while you run your benchmarks. Check it to see what your CPU temperatures are at.

65 degrees at most in full performance benchmark....
I think it must be some kind of software or bios issue but I don’t have any clue about what could it exactly be as it has proper clocks and proper usage percent.

What Ram are you running (Brand,Mhz,Gb)?
-
But I think it is only one 8 gb stick running at 1066 mhz or so.
I haven't dual channel.

From the Intel page on your CPU. Looks like you can run higher frequencies and DDR4. Might need to check with your Motherboard manufacturer to be sure it can handle DDR4. Not sure if motherboards or CPU determines whether or not you can run it.
It's possible that your Ram is bottle necking your CPU which in turn is bottle necking your GPU.
I'm not too familiar with Ram but I know when I went from 16gb to 32gb (2600mhz-3400mhz), I got around 6-800 points higher on fire strike. -
I have checked both motherboard and the ram module.
I have an Asus H110M and a DDR4 1066 8GB KINGSTON PC4 17000 STICK.
Does it worth upgrading it for gaming performance improvement?
Thank you.

I would at least buy the best it can handle since you're trying to game on it. That being a 8gb 2133mhz stick or 2 if possible.
Even buying another 8gb 1066mhz like you already have would make it run better (I think) as long as it's exaclty the same as the one you have (Mhz,brand, voltage needed etc etc...).
I have 2 8gb 2400mhz kingston ram that was used for one month but I don't know if that would work for you or not. Depends on your CPU rather than motherboard, I'm pretty sure.Last edited: Apr 6, 2018 -
The board supports XMP, so it should be able to handle 2400 or higher with no sweat.

Hi.
Updates!
I have installed this ram module, which is supposed to run at 2133 mhz. Am I right?
But it appears to be running only at 1066!
Why?
