Figured it'd be worth posting here, have an issue with my card playing CS:GO or League/Games in general, starts off fine for the first few seconds and then suddenly ill go from 450fps to 180 sometimes going below 100 then back up.

I'm not too sure whats wrong, here is a graph from one league game : MSI970GTX.png

    Running:
    4770K
    MSI Gaming 3
    MSI Twin Frozr 970
    1866 Ripjaw 16GB

I've also noticed i have to restart my computer every now and then as the RAM shows 99% use(no idea what this really means), I have a corsair 550w PSU so I'm assuming i have enough power here

I do apologies if this is the wrong forum for this, but id assume alot of you are smarter than me when it comes to solutions

What version of Nvidia Driver are you using? And what temps does it show? Is that the correct MSI GTX970 model? As for PSU, I never go below 750W just for power capacity.

Using the 21.21.13.7892 version (Date 16/03/2017)
This problem happened before and after the new drivers

CPU temp was 51-53 entire league game
GPU was 46 entire game, nice steady lines for both

Anything running in the background that might be using system resources?

Nope, thats the annoying part i will close the game, it will be still continue saying its using all the RAM and then it still stays at 99%

Your VRAM is throttling big time for big chunks of time, I think these dips would correspond to a lower framerate. My VRAM never lowers it's clock, even when in undemanding sections of the game, so I'm thinking that this your issue.
What stays at 99%, your GPU load?

Try using a free program called DDU to remove all traces of NVidia drivers from your system, and then reinstall the latest NVidia driver from the NVidia website.

No my RAM, i think thats just another issue!

every now and then ill get random lines across my screen that change every month or so, doesnt look like its my benq or the cable. ill try using DDU now

I'm talking about the VRAM that is on your GPU, not your system RAM. In your graphs it's showing your VRAM throttling for large chunks and by a large amount. Will be interesting to hear if DDU & fresh install of NVidia drivers will help.

Agreed, try using Display Drive Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall old drivers and then install the latest ones from NVIDIA website!!

It instils confidence that you also came up with the same conclusions - lets wait & see with how Jakeyoyo gets on!
