This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Quick question .... I don’t see the MSI Vortex having it’s own forum.

    What category is the MSI Vortex?

    Basically it’s a mini desktop but with Laptop specs hardware (upgradeable RAM , HDD , MXM GPU(s) ) with the exception of a desktop CPU (which is also upgradeable).

    I would think it would be in the same category as laptops , but without an LCD.

    Also when benchmarking it wouldn’t make any sense to compare to other desktop right ?
