It's so weird how everyone's switching to desktops, I just did the same. Hopped from a P650SE to a backpackable mITX rig with a 6700K and 1080 :p

    More power to ya!

Lol, got some pictures? Want to see that portability, full specs would also be appreciated!

I have it on a blog right now, still need to find time to update it now that it's deployed :p

i7 6700K, 1080 FE, 1TB 850 EVO, goes into a backpack with keyboard/mouse/headphones that I can bike around with (although very carefully). Was debating for the longest time whether to get a NP9152, figured that since I'm leaving school in half a year that I might as well just get something that will be upgradeable down the line.

It's not "weird" its "logical"...Enthusiast's want to be able to tinker and not be locked down with this BGA soldered disposable trend. I hope the rise in desktop gaming PC's results in lower gaming laptop sales and the message gets through to Nvidia, amd, and notebook manufacturers that pulled this.

I'm hoping for more fleshed out laptop options that include both BGA and socketed components to serve various needs. Ideally all would be available at the same time to give more of a choice.
