    I decided to buy a Mac Mini... in PC parts.

    Intel Core i7-4790K
    Gigabyte Z97 wLGA 1150 mITX
    512GB Crucial MX100 SSD
    Corsair Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition Liquid CPU
    Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600
    EVGA 430w Power Supply
    Cooler Master Elite 130 mini-ITX

    Successfully put OS X 10.10.3 on it!

    what are you're CPU temps above ambient temp with that cooler? I've been wondering if going with one of those self-contained liquid coolers would be better than my hunk-o-copper I have right now.

    I haven't tested it out yet. right now that temp it with a minecraft server running with no one on it. later tonight I'm going to render out a 3min 4k clip and see what the temps jump up to to. I'll report back with my findings!

    Get some good idle, under load, ect temps. I've really been looking at getting me one of those water coolers. Though I'm not sure why as my CPU only hits 45-50C when at 70% load.

    Hey syndrome sorry it took a while to post back, school and what not. here is a image that i screenshotted with the cpu maxed out with temps and clock speed. ideal temps are in the last pic i post at the very top.
