I'm looking for a monitor between 17-22 inches for home use and occasional gaming. BenQ has some LED VA monitors that are Flicker-free, but with 20ms response time.

At first glance looks impressive, but will those 20 ms noticeable with games like Grand Theft Auto of it's ok?

Which model do you recommend for general use?

Those will be TN right? I would prefer to choose picture quality.

    Try finding the ASUS MG278Q.
Or the PG279Q.The later is going to be much higher priced, since it's their gaming lineup and the panel is newer.
But both are IPS 144hz 4ms.

Thank you very much. I see those monitors are 2K (1440p) and the first one MG278Q is FreeSync which I don't really need. The second PG279Q is G-Sync which is much better, but I'm just looking for a more modest 1080p panel for web use and light gaming, probably will buy the Intel NUC Skull Canyon NUC6i7KYK barebone to accommodate.

Unfortunately there aren't any IPS 1080P high refresh rate monitors other there that I know of. I was looking for one myself a few months back buy couldn't find any.
You can get one of the TN 144HZ with the best color color reproduction out there for tn's. But end of the day, it wouldn't be worth spending that much money on a tn panel in the first place.
I have a BenQ 144hz 2411z as well, and that panel doesn't hold a candle to the MG278'S ips panel. It's a bit faster for sure, but the 3ms difference isn't all that much.
Also if you are so panning on getting the Intel NUC, there is no point in wasting money on a GSync monitor. That only works with nvidia GPUs.
