I am so tempted to buy this thing. I love Star Trek and the Borg. It looks awesome. If you can add a video card in the smaller one I might go for it (even if low profile). It would be great as a Steam Box.

I think I'm going to buy the little one no matter what. Looks cool! Hopefully it really does have green lighting in the casing.

$599 isn't bad for that starter one. I'll bet that big one will cost $1299 to start though with the 1060. Too bad they don't offer just the case. Would rather build it up how I want it. -

Although the Aorus gaming box costs $600, so if you can get the bigger cube for ~ $600 more with 1070 then might as well go that route.

Man if that case were available on it's own I'd be making an unnecessary purchase right now.

If the small one lit up then that would be almost a no-brainer purchase for a fan of Star Trek. It doesn't seem like the small one does though. And if they offered the case alone then I'd definitely be all over that heheh.

what's a borg cube?

Well if it doesn't, I'll probably just make my own. This sounds like a great project for a metal 3D printer.

Trying to imagine the airflow inside that.

That being said, its a guess based on incomplete information and based on marketing expectation - one would think they would have announced illumination for the small one as they did with the large one.
TLDR: I made an assumption based on given information - it's all speculation -

Interesting. I'd like to see some pictures of the back of the case and how they went about the rear IO. I'd like to see a Hellraiser box next.

I don't know that I'd buy it, but it's interesting.
