Hey everyone! My Asus 144 Hz desktop screen has been exhibiting strange behavior over the past few months. I think it's dying but would like to confirm this. I've only ever had a laptop screen die on me, and that was easy to diagnose because of the beep error codes on that laptop.
So my desktop monitor is unable to output an image through DVI or Displayport. It just keeps saying "no signal", but does recognize there is a GPU connected to it.
The DVI input worked up until a few months ago when it just kept giving me a "no signal" message, so I just used the Displayport input instead. That worked until last night when I rebooted my desktop. Upon rebooting it, the Displayport channel was giving me the same "no signal" message. I even tried connecting laptops to this screen through Displayport, and got the same message.
Currently I can get an image through the HDMI input. I think it's only a matter of time before this stops working too. Is the screen itself dying, or is it the controller board? Thanks in advance for any help and tips you guys give.

Did you contact Asus support and ask them about this issue? And how long have you had this monitor?

Talk about cutting it close. I lucked out here! -
This happend with a HP monitor I had on my wife's desk for working from home. Turned out a power surge tripped the inputs. I went into the monitor menu selected HDMI and everything was fine again.
