1: That you should set the top of the screen just below eye level so you have to look slightly down.
2: Set the screen so your eyes are level with 3/4 the way up the screen.
Do you have any suggestions or should i just adjust the monitor so it feels best over the next few days.
EDIT: The monitor is a 24"

I have heard both from different ergonomic folks. Personally I am a firm believer in #1. It is much more natural for me to look level or slightly down. I get less neck soreness this way too. The 3/4 eye level and having to look slightly up does not work for me at all.Tinderbox (UK) likes this.

I think number 2 is for large TV screens as you would normally be sitting a lot farther back so you would not really have to look up.

Now that makes sense, and that is how my TV's are setup at home, and no way to get above them in any normal seating arrangement.Tinderbox (UK) likes this.
