You can't connect EGPU from HDMI slot. But even though you do not have expresscard slot, from the look of ACER 5738Z's mainboard, It appears to have m-pcie slot. You may need to sacrifice your wifi card in order to connect m-pcie to express card Egpu device, but your laptop can use Egpu at bandwideth of 1.0 nonetheless.
And as you have MHD 4500 as internal graphic card, you can do the optimus setting with NVIDIA graphics card, too.

And I believe you seriously need to be more kind to newcomers. About your attitude...
Well, I agree that most of the newcomers posting at EGPU subforum does not read as much as they should be doing, for the sake of themselves. But do you have to snap at them like that? How can any good come from that? Can't you just tell them nicely?
Anyway...__-_-_-__, It won't look weird as much IF you did not mind being scolded or laugh off most of comment aimed for you... But you usually get mad and start long, and tiring debate off-the topic for that thread most of the time. :(
It looks really weird, when someone snaps at anyone who makes mistakes, and also snap back at everyone who suggest that he may be wrong.

There's a sticky. it's part of netetiquete to read those before posting. There's a difference between making stupid obvious questions that could be easily solved by using a search button or reading a sticky and asking a relevant question.
Don't known why you complain I just said the OP needed to read more topics. isn't that true? shouldn't he read? should he start making more topics?
    really. respect other forum members.
I'm here to help but only to those who are willing to learn.
As you have seen the OP clearly isn't interested in learning otherwise he would replay with relevant questions instead of some random trolling.
