    Dear Ahmed,

I have a lenovo z580 laptop. (optimus gt 630m, intel 3210m, win 10 pro) For the egpu setup, do i have to use a modded bios? Will my laptop allow mw to use miPCI for the adapter instead of wifi card?

Thank you so much. For my setup (optimus gt 630m, intel 3210m, 8 gb ram,win 10 pro) which graphics card is optimal in other words does not create any bottleneck? I will have some full hd gaming on my HD TV and I usually play in single player mode. I can afford a gtx960 setup but for gtx970, I am not sure if I can get full performance and will it be worth the extra cash? The price is nearly double.

    what do you think, Ahmed?

For Gtx 970 which I have, there is around 20 % performance compared with desktop performance which still good from my opinion. Gtx 960 also is good option. You can do one thing, you can compare eGPU Gtx 960 with eGPU Gtx 970. In my YouTube channel, there is a lot of fps benchmark for eGPU 970 for different games, just search for same game with eGPU Gtx 960 then you can know how much difference in fps and is this worth money or not.

So you are using 20% performance of gtx 970 when compared to its desktop setting?Isn't that so low? If that is the case for egpu settings, For ex. with my 3210m processor and gtx960 or something like gtx950, for do you think i can handle a full hd gamimg with min 30 fps?

No man, performance drop is 20%. So eGPU performance will be 80%. Gtx960 or 970 is good choice
