    Hello,

I got my new notebook some days ago.

    Here is my setup:
    PE4l v 2.1 for express card
    Nvidia GTX 460

After installing Windows I had a look at the tolud value. It's 3.5 GB so I did a dsdt override.
Device manager shows the "big memspace (translated)" entry under resources-sort by type

I tried severals ways to get the external card working
    1. Boot up Notebook with EGPU turned on
An attached monitor shows everything, but only if default vga adapter is loaded in windows. After installing nvidia driver, the screen gets black on logon to windows, but I hear the logon sound. Internal LCD is turned off automatically. So it does not work
    2. Boot up with EGPU turned off - halt windows start (F8) then turn EGPU on
EGPU is not detected at all. All I see in device manager is the HD4000
    3. Boot completely with EGPU off. In Windows, turn EGPU on when windows is loaded
Something is happening! I can hear the new device sound and at first the gtx460 is shown under graphics card in device manager. But after some time, the entry has a yellow ! sign, saying error 43. When I look at the resources, the address range is NOT within the range I defined for the dsdt override (does it have to be???)
When I click nvidia system panel it says: No nvidia card attached, won't load...

Please help... I spent hours and hours, and I can't get it running. It's very important to me to work, as I want to sell my desktop PC.
I can donate via paypal if someone has a solution for me..

What information can I provide for debugging?

      Thanks!

Number 3 looks better now: I once managed to boot (with F8, turn on EGPU) and now I see both cards in the device manager HD4000 / GTX460
There a now yellow exclamation marks.
But: Nvidia System panel won't launch, says no display attached to nvidia gpu... Any ideas? Does optimus have to be enabled manually?

This is how it looks, still not working http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/13/11/10/cwh.png

Sometimes with ! and error 43, sometimes not. I discovered the following
The card does not seem to be mapped in the address range I created with dsdt override
    Postimage.org / gallery - Unbenan3nt, Unbenannt, Unbenannt2
If I open it, there are 3 address ranges in the resources tab in device manager. 2 Seem to reside in the big memory space, 1 (the first) seems to be in the range I hat to enlarge where the internal HD4000 and all the other devices are.. Is this the problem? That there is no address space as one chunk?

Please help.. I don't know what else to try!
