I am not handy with a dremel or anything. I did put together a helluva lot of desktop PCs however (probably before some of you were alive). But I am scared to take a $300 videocard and put in a cardboard box and hope it works, doesn't cause RF problems, whatnot. At the same time, putitng down 200-300 for an enclosure which has limited PSU options is not too enticing either.
So I am guessing the best I could do is buying a small ITX/uATX chassis and the PE4L. Which chassis is good for this? I need a long one for these newer video cards.

what you want is a micro ATX case. google for it. Just beware about the lenght of the card and case, check the dimensions.

Isnt that exactly what I wrote?? By uATX I meant micro ATX ... just didnt bother to write out the Greek micron character
And yes, that's exactly the question: which case is the best that can accomodate long cards and such? I was looking at things like the Sugo SG08 and the TJ08-E the latter having the advantage of having lots of space for an aftermarket cooler but having the disadvantage of being a tower, after all. The SG08 is hideously expensive. Perhaps the SG02?

If you are considering a tower then almost any mini atx tower will fit any graphic card.
I wasn't even considering that.
It really depends on the lenght of the card. But there aren't many cards bigger then 33cm. So everything from bigger then that size will work.
If you are looking for the most wider case then I doubt you can find better then this:

456mm
and btw it's μATX not uATX.
