    Hello

I bought a zbook 17 from school but the gpu isn't that good for games.
So I was looking around on the internet and found this possibly great solution of egpu which I didn't know even existed.
My laptop has both expresscard 54 and thunderbolt, which one of the two should I use?

    Thanks in advance

Hi bro, i just researched a bit and find something peculiar... thunderbolt cfgs are only in macbook... so if u have any other brand consider pe4h or pe4l to make it done... so i didn't explained it wrong, thunderbolt have better signal/noise ratio over the connection and a better bus access but i dont see any development over it for windows, in other way pe4h/pe4l to ec2c have a looooooot of testing and if u can get 1.2Opt u'll be nearly the best performance u could have... im too newbie im only googling and reading the faq and experiences, for now im collecting info to know-how...

At least u have choices away from the wifi mpcie, i only have 1 mpcie slot and a expresscard slot that is not soldered xD, so if u dont care about buying something for test, test thunderbolt and show it if not go for the trusted method, pe4l + e2ec (the + of the equation is a cable xD so if the "+" is soldered it will be near to the ideal and u'll get a better durable connection with lower signal/noise ratio), these things don't happens with Thunderbolt, but well.. good luck bro!
