So after x amount of hours, i finally have some results. After powering off my laptop, powering it on and plugging in my egpu, the external monitor powers on and i can see the HP logo, but that is as far as i get. Does Anyone have any experience with this? What i did was simply updating the BIOS and turning the virtualization technology off. But as i said, that is pretty much as far as i have gotten. After searching for hours in the forum i still haven't got any answers.

    I have a HP Elitebook 2540p
    Core i5 2.53GHz
    4GB ram
    Windows 7 Enterprice 64-bit

    Anyone have some ideas?

(Oh! and im running a AMD Radion 4800 series with a 600W psu)

Incase anyone has seen this post and has the same problem i descrived above, i found a fix for it.
I simply tried another graphic card (gtx 680)
So there you have it :)
