This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Have you guys seen this announcement?

    I currently have a XPS 13 and was considering a new laptop for heavier gaming. I had dismissed current eGPU as too expensive even without the GPU itself, but this seems a nice solution. You lose upgradability but gain in compactness and lower price.

    I wonder if this would work with the internal display of the XPS 13, but if it does my wallet is going to be flung at them.

    What do you think?
