MSI GUS II still coming... and if so.. when?
So the standalone enclosure/wires will cost 199$ and the version with a 7750 is likely to cost around 299$ (7750 is priced at 120$<) according to the e-mails with the MSI sales manager.
Still no information on a release date that I could find.
A MBA13-EGPU combo would be lovely. I understand the GUS II is the cheapest EGPU option as of right now, even though it hasn't released, correct? So it's best to wait?

Sadly, the only way to get a true thunderbolt enclosure is to wait
And I really think they should pair a NVidia 650 or 640 instead of an AMD card. It would be soo much easier to work with considering external graphics. Still.. $300 and your done? They would be pricing it perfectly. Hope they stick with it when (or if) they get to releasing this thing.

how can a product that doesn't exist be cheaper then a real one? you can't compare imaginary things.
also that link is ancient and everyone knowns about it. don't known why you even made. just search for info in this forum.
anyway. msi gus II is not being produced and they don't have any plans whatsoever to produce it. -
2. An "ancient link" is a link several years old. This link is from March 2012, which is a few month ago and I would consider it somewhat recent.
3. Drop the attitude ("don't know why you even made"). The majority of forum surfers do not spend an absurd amount of time reading every single thread.
4. I did search "GUS II release date".
Next time try to bring constructive information to the post rather than a lousy attitude.
If it is in-fact not being produced, then the correct way of replying to a thread like this would of been to:
1) Tell us WHY the production is no longer in effect
2) Is it cancelled for good?
3) Current alternatives with a similar price range.
4) Upcoming alternatives? Buy now or wait? -
all you need to do is a simple search and 2 mouse clicks. it takes seconds.
GUS II - May come with a 7750 preinstalled, according to sales manager
