Generation 1.0 works, 2.0 does not.

Running my eGPU on generation 1.0 speed works just fine. But i'd like, of course, to use 2.0. When i change it and plug in the express card, the screen flickers a bit, then nothing happens, so the computer seems to notice it, but thats it.

Any other changes that needs to be done? Or is it simply not possible?

    You need Bplus' PE4L 2.1b to get your Gen2 capable 8560W to negotiate a Gen2 pci-e link speed. PE4H 2.4 can't negotiate a reliable Gen2 pci-e link,.
