So I've got an hp touchsmart 14-n048ca, I'm not familiar with the technical specifications of the mPCIe slot used for WiFi cards in the system. I've read about WhiteList and USB pin conflicts, however I can't determine or find that specific information according to my laptop. You all here are far more experienced and educated in the matter. I kneel before your greatness.

My ideas if I can get it to work is that I'd also buy a headless hdmi plug for the GPU and use OBS to stream the eGPU to screen to my laptop screen via Fullscreen Preview. Considering there is a VCE version it'd use very little CPU power to pass that video through.

Can anyone point out my flaws in this idea? Can anyone point out what sort of port I've got? I'm going abroad and I'd like to do a little more intense gaming the a8-5545m can't handle on it's own.
