    i have an acer 5935g and looking at external graphic card options, it has a 8gb ram and 1 hdd and 1 ssd internal is that going to cause any problems?? i have been looking at the PE4H (PCIe passive adapter ver2.4) with the ec2c connection anyway can someone actually explain what i need to make this all work sorry this is confused the hell out of me so many 1x 2x ahhh

    The x's stands for the transferspeed between the computer and the graphics card. Anyway.
    What you need is a adapter so that you can connect the GPU to your computer, the PE4H (example).
    Then you need, of course, a graphics card.
    Last you need a power supply for the card, just be sure its powerful enough!

    Make sure your computer have a expresscard slot, and check out the DIY eGPU experiences to see if anyone have tried with your computer.
