    Hello there :)
I have HP Probook 4730s with and HD 3000 and Radeon 6490.
I have bought a ViDock and ECGA nVidia 570 GTX.
I want to play my games on my internal screen.
I've tried everything that I could find on the net and especially on this forum. Modding the nVIdia driver, installing different drivers, Optimus etc.
The problem is that the driver is installed successfully but still my games are running slow just like with the HD 3000, only Crysis and Crysis 2 are running OK but I have flickering textures all of the time. I am not a computer noob so I know what I am doing if I have the instructions.
PLS HELP me workout this thing.

    Hey nando4 I just added u as a friend :)
Yes I tried and we tried everything but its still not working.
First of all I had code 12 with my Radeon 6870 and I purchased ediy setup, that fixed the code 12 and after that I find out that i cannot play on my internal screen with my Radeon so I bought EVGA nVidia 570GTX. Even with my Radeon everything is ok on external screen but I cannot get it to work on internal.
I diseabled the dgpu and I did all shown on this forum but still... Here are the pictures that I am have from my PC.

If Villagetronic have tried unsuccesfully to get it working then you can get a refund. Per Villagetronic's return policy:

Plenty of DIY eGPU users of PE4H/PE4L have internal LCD mode work. In case you've missed my previous questions, I'll ask them again. Have you tried Villagetronic Support? Village Instruments : Support or the ViDock facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/VillageViDock?

If Villagetronic can't get it working then may I suggest obtaining a refund to purchase DIY eGPU hardware (PE4L 2.1b) and asking the DIY eGPU users for their assistance? You've paid a premium for your product and are entitled to support from Villagetronic as part of your purchase.

I can use internal display with the latest desktop Nvidia driver without modifications with ViDock4 and GTX560ti on Lenovo x220. Driver version 302.82. Make sure to select Nvidia GPU as primary in Geforce settings. I assume the main difference between our laptops is that yours has dGPU which needs to be disabled...

Just make sure the intelhd graphics is enabled. In display adapter, your egpu and intel hd should be the only cards enabled and working. My Vidock has been working fine but I didn't have to worry about the dgpu problem. You should then be able choose the internal monitor only under change screen resolution.

Only those two I can see in the device manager, I think that my problem is in the "screen resolution" section, I cannot seem to be able to change to internal screen, something is wrong...

Glad you made it to work. I had no wishes for you to return the ViDock other than present that as an option if Villagetronic and/or the ViDock facebook support page can't solve your problem. Your result validating one reason why I consider it a poor product: poor vendor product support amongst the other issues - inflexible power design, overpriced for what is basic electronics and a small user support base.

Still, I can understand why some would pay higher amounts of money for the convenience of a enclosure-based product.
