    Hi ,

    I have dell3537, i74500u, 8850m

I use throttle stop to maximize the clock frequency . it goes up tp 2.8 - 2.9 when idle but on load (cpu bench and gaming) it step back to 2.4GHZ. Any idea why is this happening ?? tried disabling speed step, processor idle disable, minimum and maximum processor power management.

    Hi,
    I have flex 14 with i7-4500u too.
When I"m idle my cpu clocks about 0.9 to 2 ghz and when I'm gaming it clocks up to 3.0 and sometimes above.I used 'unpark cpu'. And I have no problem with it currently except when i'm playing games, it sometimes gets too hot.
    So trying unparking your cpu.
I hope this works for you
