Hi all, my system is Hp Spectre x360 Skylake.
i have a M.2 socket key-M that support both Sata and PciE 4x. Is possibile that work at same time?
Is possibile make a M.2 M splitter: one for sata ahci SSD, one for PciE 4x Bus for EGPU?
I searched very well no answer.

Or it's better to go with remove of card wireless Intel ac-7265(other M.2 slot PciE 2x) for EGPU?

    thank you :)

With my setup I found that it was much simpler to remove the wifi card. There was not enough room for a splitter. Also a little FYI, it seems NVidia has monkeyed with the latest drivers and egpu setups have taken a negative hit. The only driver that seemingly works is 372.06, any driver beyond that like 372.90, and the latest 373.06 will not work. A lot of people are getting error code 43 with those latest drivers.

Thats what i thought at first. But seems like there is something related to WDDM 2.1 going on. And it might get fixed in the later drivers.

My dubt going to remove wireless is that limit EGpu to 2x PciE. This limit too much? (Skylike i5 have PciE 2.0 or 3.0?)

Other way Split M.2 M in sata & PciE 4x is all benefit.
I know there are very very small space, but an idea is ssd sata short form factor (<<2280) and M.2 adapter 3-4cm male-female for Ssd and small flat connector for PciE 4x (how many pins is necessary? 20?40?)
