Hi guys, I'm having a hard time trying to find out if the expresscard is a 2.0 version in the m4700. I heard the 2.0 has less performance loss. I'm trying to use it with a GTX 570. I understand there are DIY docks but I like the VIDOCK for the simplicity and cleanliness.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Which version of the m4700 do you own? Could you list the computer specs? Given the computer is relatively new and uses ivy bridge processors, the expresscard unit would be 2.0.

    Are the graphics switchable?
3rd gen (sandy bridge) laptops are EC 2.0 capable.

Did you have any luck with this?

I have a Dell M6700 and my GTX 670 viia the ViDock is only using at 1x 1.1/2?

Is it possible to get it running at 2x or even 4x at 2.0?
