What happens with a Pascal card in the Razer core or other branded tb3 egpu?

In my laptop specifically or any.

And specifically even amd current cards also have more bandwidth than the tb3 can show.

Is the best card for this egpu tb3 set up a lower bandwidth interface? Like a 970 or etc?

What is the card to use in a tb3 egpu

Due to a lack of availability of the core no one really knows that.

I remember razer saying that they would not put any restrictions on the cards that the core would accept and work with. Also no pascal gpu is available to the public at the moment so you might want to hold your horses.
