    Setup 1.x Chainloading and PCI Compaction Not Working

    Need some help on what to do, i posted something on the diy egpu general discussion but i doubt anyone will see that, sorry if i broke a rule about multiple posts or something, i just made this account like a few hours ago. Anyways, i have a dell studio xps 1640 with win7 ultimate 64 bit, 8gb ram, 640gb hdd, 2.67 dual core cpu, and a built ati radeon hd3670. My eGPU specs are PE4H-EC2C, EVGA GT 630 1GB GDDR5, and 480 psu w/ setup 1.x. I cant get a PCI compaction in setup except for a 36 bit compaction on my dGPU and sometimes for some reason i can 32 bit compact the eGPU, but even if I sometimes get that far it will not let me chainload into win7, what the heck man? For real i need some help on this, and yes i do get code 12 in device manager, but its not a code 12 on the actual video card, its a code 12 on the PCI port its using, and sometimes the GT630 will show up but it asks me to restart because of the hardware change and then its back to code 12 on PCI Port 4. someone please enlighten this poor decrepit n00b......p.s. i took 2gb of ram out to see if that would help, well it didnt, so please help

    Ive gotten to where i can do a 36 bit compaction on both the eGPU and the dGPU, but the problem still persists when i try to chainload. Anyone know how to bypass this nuisance? Im so close and I have invested much, please help me someone. Also, is it necessary to disable the dGPU? Because I still cant do this either.

    Seriously, can anyone not help me out? I just need to know how to properly chainload because when i run grub4dos win7 or grub4dos mbr it just goes to a black screen and it doesnt boot up. Please someone help me, there are no discussions that i can find about this, if there are any then please send me a link,

    Okay making some progress, im so thrilled that im the only one posting in this thread, but anyways i can successfully click chainload mbr and it will take me to some screen where i can type stuff in, i typed (help) for some kinda guidelines and then i thought the best choice would be to type (boot), but when i did that it said something like no kernel selected, what the heck kinda kernel is it talking about? With my understanding of this junk im assuming its talking about corn, that was a joke of course, but anyways someone tell me what to do, im so close, i just need to boot some kernel im assuming
