    Hi everybody,

I find this forum where it seems there are a lot of users with the vidock system.
As well i find the guide to solve error 12 but in the repository there aren't any files, or better i can't see them...

I can't boot windows 7 with the express card connect ( make the light for 1 second and shoutdown automatically, nothink is wrote on monitor )

I can boot the windows 7 without the express card connect. So after i connect the express card and i installa driver, but in device manager i got code 12,

Please help me with my problem because i'm getting really sad... :( :( :(

    Thanks

You need to buy the license for setup 1.x! Also consider complaining with Vidock support, since they didn't provided you a working product (software-side).

You find info about it in the first post of the main egpu thread. It's a software that basically does a thing called "PCI compaction", which probably will let you overcome error 12.
By the way, what are your laptop's specifications?

inside PCI compaction i try to ignore the iGPU,
after in method i leave 32bit A and run compact.
it show me same rows in which there are about 10 rows that say "prohibited pci range: ..............."
    After i do startup.bat and chainload win7.

But after it start the wrong disk, as is starting the vaio care disk ( about 10GB of reserved disk where there is the windows installation)

Please help as i'm getting crazy ! In a few hours i will take my vidock and making it flying out the window !

    thanks,
    Marco

I've never used it myself, since I've never needed it. However, you can follow this guide. There you can also download the last release.
If you can manage to get it woking, you'll be able to game on the internal display.

ps: have you already checked your TOLUD?

    Hi Marco,

Did you have any luck as I'm having issues with disabling my dGPU using the setup 1.x software.

    I have Vaio VPCS12V9E with a ViDock 4+ and a 650Ti and I'm getting the code 12 error too!

    Cheers

    Martin

First generation Core i3/i5, no wonder...
The problem is basically resolved on most SandyBrigde and subsequent systems.
