And then I'm going to change de HDD for a SSD

i dont know, but doesn't wireless card mini pci-e run at 1x @ 1.1?
they have like 250MB bandwith or something
im pretty sure that mPCIe slots are 1x slots, so even if they run at 3.0 speeds, they are like 1GB/s
not sure how its gonna work out, will prob be a major bottleneck
but i heard some games need **** tons of bandwith while some dont -

if your laptop has usb type c port with thunderbolt, id recommend waiting for some company to come up with thunderbolt external gpu.
i think your x556 has usb type c, but not thunderbolt
id rather sell your laptop and just get a laptop with better graphics, or build a desktop because, laptop that is mostly opened up to use external gpu is basically cluttered pc on your desk that isn't gonna move anywhere -

also
im pretty sure that you are giving up your pci-e slot for your wireless card
as a skylake generation laptop, pretty sure that your wireless card would be ngff 2232 form factor
but the adapter you listed is for mPCI-e
they are different slot and they wont fit
What do you think about this combination?
