im looking at villiagetronic's site, and all they have is the expresscard version (boo!)
they announced this in August, 2 months later, any news so far?
come on, people would totally buy this, what's going on?

Regardless, as Vaio Z2 owners are learning, a Light Peak connection isn't a fast enough of a connection for really serious eGPU gaming. -

Some other vendors have TB enclosures scheduled for a November 2011 release as shown. If holding out for Villagetronic to deliver something similar then I'd recommend perusing the ViDock Facebook page to get a feel of the commitment to support their existing expresscard system owners.
The hold up is Intel and Apple giving vendors access to the TB chips and specifications. They are cherry picking who to partner with. -
