    hi, guys.

let me start by saying i do not know too much about hardware.
my PC specs can be seen in my signature and i'm interested in this DIY.
i would like to use a GTX670 as the external gpu. (doesn't really need to be portable)

can someone help me about what performance gains should be expected so i can figure out if this is worth it or not ?

also what would be the best way to do this?
