Hey guys so after a couple of paychecks im going to dive into the eGPU scene. I've been reading heavily into the guides and other peoples experiences. My main concern is that I have a x220 with an i5-2540m, all of the other people have 2520m's and I was wondering is there going to be a problem with the setup if I buy a PE4L 2.1b? Thanks in advance.

Your processor will not stop the egpu from working .... It may make your benchmark scores better(or worse)

Setting up the egpu is going to be tricky for any system. So you really can't plan too far ahead. Just make sure that have all the necessary ports and accessory's and dive in.

    Good luck.
