    If you download this file http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/AMDPowernowver3.04.EXE install then right click and select compatibility mode. Select Windows 2000. You can now check the power properties and there is a new option "AMD PowerNow ™ Technology" one of the options is High performance mode.

    Hi orion, i did what you instructed, and when i call up battery properties, theres an AMD PowerNow tab which i sent to high performance mode for both plugged in and batteries. however, when i click on the system icon in control panel its showing 793 mhz. under the battery properties power schemes tab, there is no option for AMD powernow technology. can you please help?
