    Hi all,

Laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is set by the manufacturer in bios limit memory 2GB RAM. This laptop has Phoenix bios. Chipset this laptop Intel 945PM in hardware support 4GB RAM. Also Fujitsu XI1554 bios support NVIDIA and ATI graphics card. Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

I found on the internet that laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is exactly the same Alienware m5750 and Alienware m5790. Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support 4GB RAM. Unfortunately Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support only ATI graphics card.

I have a request - could someone unlock in Fujitsu bios 4GB RAM support???

Links to download bios Fujitsu XI1554 and bios Alienware m5750/m5790:

I haven't visited this site for like 10 years but it appears to be still running... Not sure if there is anyone who could help but I'm pretty sure chance is better there anyways :)

Chipset on your laptop is 32bit, I had one 945 with chip too and I got ~3GB available at best. Not even close to 3,5-3,8GB I'd usually hit with 32bit os.

Chipset this laptop Intel 945PM in hardware support 4GB RAM. KLF look at the specifications of the 945PM chip:

    http://www.intel.com/content/www/us...ier/mobile-945-express-chipset-datasheet.html

I have 64 bit OS, but Fujitsu bios limit memory to 2GB RAM max. Alienware bios support 4GB RAM. Unfortunately Alienware bios support only ATI graphics card. Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

Does anyone can help me to modify Fujitsu bios???

    Best Regards

Supports 4, as in "doesn't turn into fireball if 4 installed" but only ~3GB actually works :)

There's no vbios in the oproms, in either the Fujitsu or the AW. Tried flashing the AW bios?
