Has anyone tried both model in person and noticed any built quality differences??
This store I went to kept on stressing that the 7010 is built better than the 6210; however, I would think they are built very similiary.

On the other hand, from the outside (case, keybaord, etc) the 6210 would be exactly the same as 2020 except screen right?

    Thx for the help!

I haven't used them both, but I think that statement is false. After using the 6000 series and getting reports from users of the 7000 series, it seems the 6000 is more solid. Fujitsu is well known for quality though, so pretty much any direction should be good. The only consistent issue with the 7000's surrounds the keyboard.

Is there any known issues with the S6000 series?

    I own a S7010 and saw a 6210 in Frys this week.

I believe they are near identical in build quality but the 6210 will feel stuffer because it is smaller. If the two have the same LCD lid the larger one will flex more and I think that is the only difference you will see.

Both have some keyboard problems where certian keys make a clacky type sound. The 6210 is only affected on a few keys on the left but much or the lower right hand side the 7010 keyboard has the problem. btw, the old 6120 in frys showed no signs of this problem. You can fix the noise with some double sided tape but the soft spots will remain.

There're some differences from the outside between S2000 and New S6210:
1.Keyboard: S6210 has full size now.
    2. Screen, S6210 has CV display (it is great![ :)])
    3. Both are pretty tight and light.
    4. S6210 has 3 2.0USB ports and TV port
    5. S6210 doesn't have port replicator on the bottom.

    Cheers,

    Cheers!
