Hey everyone, first off I'd like to say this is a great forum for info/reviews on purchasing a laptop and helped me purchase mine a couple months ago. I'm having some troubles with it, so let me start.

About a month ago, I began to notice that when I listen to music its really "crackly". At first I thought it was just my speakers, but I hooked up my iPod to the speakers and didn't have that problem. I hooked up headphones to my A3130 and I could still hear the crackly sound. I don't know what is the cause for this. Does anyone else with a Fujitsu Lifebook A3130 or any notebooks from the Lifebook series have this similar problems? It makes listening to music, and watching videos extremely irritable! I have a warranty with Fry's Electronics(Fremont,CA) and they will fix any issues. But I wonder how long it will take, and if they'll even be able to solve the problem. What should I do?

Another thing is I have noticed my computer is starting to get slower and slower, and at the beginning of each startup, the load time takes longer and longer! What can I do to make my computer smoother and faster? I clean the disc and defragment regularly, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Please Notebook Forums! I need your help!

    TIA and happy holidays everyone!

Take a look at what's turning on with Windows and what's running in the backgrounds. CCleaner is a good application for doing it.

Not sure on the sound issue. You have the latest driver and BIOS. Support have anything to say about it?

It turns out that the sound problems is because my laptop was on "Battery Save Mode" haha. CCleaner? I'll give it a try. Thanks for the advice man.
