STRANGE
A few days after I bought the my Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO 1347G notebook, I tried to connect it to my CRT monitor. A little while after I configured the refresh rate on the CRT, I noticed on the graphic card properties tab that my ATI X700 with 128MB memory now had 512MBs!
Also, I think while the screen refresh rate was 61HZ before the configuration, it was now showing 60HZ. I think thats when I first noticed that the fonts on the screen looked funny (some parts of a character where darker that others). After a search on windows help I discovered the clear type thingy.
If youve recently purchased this model or any other with similar specs, can you take a look at the amount of memory attributed to your ATI X700, the maximum refresh rate (61 or 60HZ) and whether or not the clear type option is activated?
Ive already received confirmation from other forum users that after updating their graphics card drivers, their memory went up to 512MB.
Is this notebook alive? ;D
Thanx.

your X700 must be using Hypermemory, it still only has 128mb of dedicated video memory and shares the rest from your 1gb of memory onboard your notebook.
I am jealous of you X700! booo you!! ^_^ -
Interesting take. If it's so, do you know how to switch the hypermemory on and off?

Hi,
I have recently purchased the Amilo M1437G and have encountered a problem I have been unable to resolve. I output to my Sharp Aquos Lcd tv via the DVI port and have noticed horizontal flicker lines on action scenes. The tv has worked fine with my previous computer. I have tried updating drivers etc all to no avail. It looks like a deinterlacing problem but I might be wrong. Has anyone else experienced this with video?
AMILO 1437G It?s Alive!
