    AMILO Xi 1546/47

    Does anyone have any idea who the OEM and model is for the Fujitsu AMILO Xi 1546/47 and also when the 1547 wil be available

    I don't know for sure, but the probability for Uniwill as OEM is very high.

    1547 is the model with a higher display resolution - Fujitsu did the same with M3438 and M4438. There it took several months until 4438 was available (after the 3438).

    You won one? That's great man! The Xi1546 has a 1440*900 resolution, the Xi1547 1920*1200. That's the only difference. I prefer the Xi1546, you can max out games at native resolution.

    Ok when anyone gets one can you confirm the oem for me as i want to get hold of a service manual before i buy. Ideally i want to find out if i buy the 1546 can i upgrade to the 47 screen later

    Iced Teacant find any info on the p72 where you get yours from? I dont read german so most of the good fsc info sites are useless

    The entire Amilo series is of Uniwill origin. Got the model number reference in a Bios or driver (can't remember)

    There is a site that sells the screens for both the amilo models (1546/1547), however they have both screen types for both models (lo-res 1440x900 & hi-res 1920x1200). The pricing is confusing, though. They demand a call to get to know the prices of the screens.

    And you'll most likely void your warranty by replacing the screen, if you're not an approved FS technician.
