    Im a first time laptop buyer.
    I am looking about in ignorance.
    Any advice greatly appreciated :)
    I am considering an Amilo A 1650 34 price £699.99

    ok, well its just for general home use, net, chat, bit of music download and games for the kids. As i said, im totally un informed. Suppose first off is, whether you know much about this model. New make ? old hat? I cant seem to find much about this particular one? generally seems a good make?? but any hidden traps to look out for when buying laptops?

    for games ,try one with a better vga.Check the 1667 turion model.
    Still, the 1650 is very fast,well equiped and future proof.
