or are there other people completely baffled why Fujitsu makes a 14in wxga crystal view and a 14in wsxga non-crystal view on the s7010, but not one with the best of both worlds. A 14in wsxga cv (or any other glossy screen brand) sounds like the perfect specs for a screen for me but I can't find one anywhere. I don't think xga is quite high enough res for me and the gloss screens are so sexy. Is there something I don't know that manufacturers do? If anyone has any suggestions of a laptop with a 14in wsxga glossy screen(anything at all) I would love to hear them. Thanks guys-

these screens aren't "W...". the "W" resembels wide screen aspect, but the S7000 has standard 4:3 screens.

    Just thought I would clarify.

I cannot think of any 14" sxga or wsxga at the moment o_O

Oh yeh, my bad, whoops. I have been thinking of an Asus W3v and the S7010 and got them mixed up. Thanks for the reply and pointing that out. Do you know why they dont make a 14in wsxga/sxga with a glossy screen?

i think 4:3 is still considered the 'preferred' design for business notebooks where the S7000 series is aimed for.

It could be cost prohibitive at this point, but might happen within a year. Currently the portableone website shows 1400x1050 Non-CV to be $50 more than the 1024x768 CV on the S7010.
