    Any idea what the speed of the 80GB HDD is in this lap top?

    If it's not specified on tehir site, assume it's 4200.

    couldnt find it anywhere, but phoned fujitsu yesterday and they said it "should" come with a 5400 drive, and on "rare occasions" they install 4200rpm instead.

    So you dont actually know what you will get until it arrives?!!

    I ordered one lastnight anyway...!

    Well I have searched,and called Turkey Fujitsu-Siemens call center and they said to me,at least 5400 and some are 7200 rpm...but to Brian,80 gb cannot has a 4200 rpm,it must be least 5400...and over...
    mine s 7200 rpm hitachi.
