They don't sell this line in the US, but I'm sure it maintains the same standards of quality that Fujitsu is known for.

Hey
Will, I have it "the 7400M" I am not sure if you are getting yours new or used, because the new one is named 7405M it is diffrent and improved, but this is what I can till you about the 7400M:
First My Machine:
Centrino 1.4 with 1MB cach"As fast as my wifes 2.8 P4 Laptop"
It came with 512MB Ram 266, I upgraded to 1024.
80 GB HD
DVD+R.
Now:
Pros:
1- Centrino is the winner when it come to laptops, Quaite, fast, cool and 4 hours of battery life.
2- Extra large HD, nice 80 GB
3- Really nice to have a 4X DVD burner on the laptop, even if it is only +R
4- nice waight, not too havy.
5- hard worker, I really miss treat the poor thing and it keeps working just fine.
6- The best part is you can't get any better for the price, this is my 2ed Fujitsu Siemens, they always win when when it comes to value.
7- Good extras, like Wi-Fi, even if it is the old B band, 3 USB 2.0, Infared "nice to use with the cell phone", Multi Card reader "MS MMC SD" and a fire waire.
Bassiclly, if you are a normal user, this LapTop will give you everything you need and want.
Cons:
1- The dump intel Graphics card with shared memory, will not play many game "Just forget it if you are a gamer"
2- DVD burner only +RW.
3- HD 4200 RPM "Really slow"
4- no option to get the 12 cell battery, you only get the 8 cell.
5- Sound is really bad "Just as in almost all laptops.
6- They have the old and almost useless Infared and no bluetooth.
Over all I give this Laptop a 8.5 out of 10, but I don't think you will find a better laptop for the money. and the one that will top it, will cost way more.
I got mien for about $1400 in Feb 2003.
