Hi, I have an Amilo Pro V2020 that will now to turn on. :(

About a month back the jack connector on the end of the power pack split, cross wired and blew up the transformer. I found a power pack from an old Fujitsu with similar volts and amps. After buying an adaptor for it, it worked. Laptop turned on straight away and I was away. After leaving it to charge for a bit and coming back to it, it will not turn on. Every now and then the lights light up at the front as if it is trying to start up but nothing. :(

    Can anyone help???

    Many thx Chris

You can try to reset your BIOS. Remove the battery and press the On/Off button for 10 seconds. This will decharge the notebook. Then keep it off for a few minutes. Then plug in the battery and the battery charger and see if it works.

    Good luck.
