Hi everybody, I tried to update my amilo xi 1546 bios using the exe found in the drivers & downloads page, the process wasn't completed ( at about 3 of the 17 things it was reprogramming, the laptop cut out for no reason ) and now when I switch it on, it will boot for about 2 seconds, switch off, then reboot and do this continuously. The only way to stop it doing this is to take out the battery.

    Help please :(
    Thanks in advance.

If you could just remove the bios battery by opening your laptop under, to reset the bios, may be it would help. After removing, you must put it back, don't forget it.
