I am considering it.... but the only thing holding me back is the weight issue. There is currently a rebate on all the N3500s including the core duos.. Are they about to refresh the whole series and this is just a stop gap. One more thing is that they should have put in a x1600 graphics with 256mb ram.. I guess they did not want to encroach on the N6410s territory.

Fujitsu really doesn't appear to care much about the Dedicated graphics market seeing how the don't seem to be trying. I myself, obviously given may current lappy would be find with the X1400.

Makes me want to visit the Keys again. They'res a little shop in downtown Key West that actually has Fujitsu. Would like to see it.

A little. I am impressed by the few Fujitsus I've gotten to see firsthand (never handled a 3500 series, though), and the 3530 falls pretty well into the range of specs for what I'm looking for in a notebook. That being said, I am more inclined to go for something with a Turion just to hedge my bets toward 64-bit possibly becoming more of a standard in the next 2-3 years.
