i am looking to buy this corsair RAM for the fujitsu S6231
    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=20-145-506&DEPA=0

Or maybe even a kingston one from bestbuy.

I was wondering if anyone had any problems with the notebook rejecting RAM? any brands i should advoid for sure?

The Corsair RAM i have linked runs at PC3200, will it just drop to PC2700 on its own and run right?

    TIA

Any RAM should be fine. Yes, faster RAM will jsut slow down.

    thx Brian

I ask because i have encounter some mobos that have been very picky in the pass. for example, i once had this really cheap PC chips athlon board and it didnt take Geil, PQI, or even corsair. i had to use kingston for it.

but for the most part, i think corsair ram has work in ever single mobo i used expect that one
